Kraft Crags has 27 routes, from 5.8 to 5.11b PG13; 1 is harder.
First ascent: unknown
Description
Thoughtful climbing on high quality rock. A high first bolt leads to delicate climbing past the arete. Continue past three bolts in a shallow left facing dihedral with a final slab move to get to the anchor. This is not my route, and am happy to change the name/description if the FA comes forward.
Location
10 feet left of 'The last Calico'. Shares anchors with the short 5.8 variation of this climb.
Protection
5 bolts
Access
The 13-mile Scenic Drive requires a timed-entry reservation October to May and has seasonal gate hours. Calico Basin and Kraft Mountain sit outside the Scenic Drive and need no reservation.
Wet rock: Aztec sandstone loses much of its strength when wet. Do not climb for at least 24 to 48 hours after rain or snowmelt, or holds break off and routes are permanently damaged.
