Indecision Peak Direct

Class 4 · 5.0 mi · +2,720 ft · from the start

Indecision Peak (6,431 ft) is a sandstone peak in the Rainbow Mountain Wilderness, just south of Mt Wilson. Its long approach ridge has at least two more high points higher than the two peaks at its end, so four high points could claim the name.

This is the direct way: straight up the east face, the quickest and most scrambly way up Indecision Peak. It is also a much quicker way to reach the top of Questionable Decision Canyon.

Access

The 13-mile Scenic Drive requires a timed-entry reservation October to May and has seasonal gate hours. Calico Basin and Kraft Mountain sit outside the Scenic Drive and need no reservation.
