Location
Allow about 1 hr 15 min for the approach. Go up the approach gully. As of 2026 there are fixed lines in places, and they continue well past the start of Crabby Appleton, so it's easy to go too far. There may or may not be fixed lines before the climb in the photo, so use the photo to know where to turn. When you reach that climb, don't go up it: traverse right. If you reach a large ledge system that traverses far to the right, you've gone high enough. The start is about 100 ft down and right from there, below a beautiful varnished hueco wall.
